March for Our Lives - Union County: Saturday, March 24 at 10:00 AM

On Saturday, March 24, at 10:00 AM, the Union County "March for Our Lives" will begin at Burnet Middle School (1000 Caldwell Avenue) in Union, and will end at Union Township Town Hall (1976 Morris Avenue). March for Our Lives is the movement begun by young people in the wake of the massacre in Parkland, Florida, where 17 lives were taken by gun violence. So far, 763 events are scheduled for that day. The Washington, D.C. national march will bring tens of thousands of children and adults to the capitol "...to demand that their lives and safety become a priority and that we end gun violence and mass shootings in our schools today."* Let's show our young people that we value them, and that we are willing to stand with them to stop the proliferation of guns and gun violence in our community.
