Moving Forward with Linda Carter in LD-22

I am once again in the enviable position of endorsing Linda Carter for public office. This time, Linda is set to fill the vacancy in the New Jersey State Assembly caused by the death of Jerry Green, former chairman of the Union County Democratic Committee and the longest-serving assembly member in the state house.

In the sixteen years that I have known her, Linda Carter has always exemplified the best in public service. I ran her very first city council campaign in Plainfield—that’s when I got to know her best—and I can attest to the fact that she has worn out many pairs of shoes over the years, talking with residents and bringing her own personal warmth and empathy to her elected role. Her sincere commitment and dedication to championing the needs of her constituents across Union County, along with her unmatched work ethic, has already become a part of her legacy. As a member of the state legislature, I know that Linda will serve us well, and will continue to bring her singular mixture of intelligence, experience, and thoughtfulness to the table. I proudly and wholeheartedly endorse my friend, Linda Carter, as the next Assemblywoman to represent LD-22.

Linda has long been a part of the Democratic Team from Plainfield, and I look forward to continuing to work with her! Go, Linda!
