Union County's Division of Youth Services: A Holistic Approach to Empowering Our Youth

Today, I'd like to highlight the work of the Division of Youth Services here in Union County. As part of the Department of Human Services, the division has a stated mission of delivering "...effective and accessible programs that help youth, young adults, and families reach their full potential...." See the full mission statement, below.*

The Division of Youth Services is host to a plethora of program initiatives and services that are available to all our residents. Under the able leadership of Director Hawa Bonds, the division also partners with other government agencies, NGAs, and with the private sector to bring a holistic approach to empowering our youth as they navigate ofttimes treacherous terrain on their journey to adulthood.
