Plainfield Recreation's "Seniors On the Move" Exercise Program: Seated and Standing Stretches - Social Distancing Saves Lives!
During this time of social distancing, the Plainfield Division of Parks and Recreation is committed to maintaining programs to keep in touch with residents while they are at home. To that end, the Division's older active adult exercise program, "Seniors On the Move!" is presenting activities and exercises to keep everyone active and healthy. In the two videos below, Exercise Instructor Carolyn Oliver offers stretching (seated and standing). Regular exercise helps to relieve tension and assists your cardiovascular system in working properly and more efficiently. Check out "The Seated Stretch," followed by "The Standing Stretch." Stay safe and be well. Visit Plainfield Recreation on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/divofparksandrecplainfield/
