Union County's QUEER POWER HOUR: Observing LGBTQ History Month

October is LGBTQ History Month!

"Tune in for hour-long conversations with some of new Jersey's dedicated LGBTQ+ community leaders, advocates, and allies. QUEER POWER HOUR will explore LGBTQ+ topics and offer stories and discussions involving queer folks from different backgrounds and experiences."

This year, Union County's Office of LGBTQ Affairs is premiering the OUT in Union County: QUEER POWER HOUR, a biweekly virtual event hosted by Micayla Mirabella on alternating Wednesdays at 7:00 PM through the end of the year. The upcoming conversation on Wednesday, October 14 will focus on "Queer Pioneers and Activists" as we discuss, uplift, and honor those individuals whose efforts on behalf of the LGBTQ community have helped us progress. Pre-registration is required. The complete schedule is below.

To register for this event, and to find out more about the Union County Office of LGBTQ Affairs, just click on this link: Union County Office of LGBTQ Affairs or contact Danni Newbury at 908-527-4742 or at dnewbury@ucnj.org.
